The Genesis

Hypothesis Magic was founded in 2022 by Hau Jiun Hsu, winner of the FISM Invention Award.

Renowned for his creative and innovative style, Hau Jiun won the Grand Prix at the TMA Invitation Stage Magic Contest in 2019—his first-ever competition. He also swept numerous accolades, including special awards from the Hollywood Magic Castle, UGM Japan and Ulsan Korea. He then went on to represent Taiwan at the FISM World Championship of Magic, capturing the Invention Award in the stage category.

Beyond the stage, Hau Jiun channels his expertise into designing professional magic props and serving as a performance and technical consultant for fellow professionals. Since its launch, the brand has quickly risen to prominence, releasing globally best-selling products annually, most notably Spinception and Arcane Pad.
